| A dumb little thing to do to pass the time. I'm doing fine by the way. Getting ready to move into my house in New Paltz while still trying to enjoy the last precious two weeks of summer before stupid school.

Incidentally, the rule for "visiting" is: road-tripping through it counts, especially if you stopped to use the bathroom. Flying over doesn't, and neither does only seeing the interior of the airport between flights. (Everyone knows the airport isn't a proper place at all.)

Counting DC I only have 20 states.
States I would like to visit most are probably Hawaii, California, Colorado and South Carolina. I also want to check Wisconsin and Indiana. And I might as well see what Arizona and South Dakota are like. (Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore.) I have no interest in ever going to Maine or Alaska even though I've heard they are really nice... I hate cold weather.

| has facebook been rediculously slow for anyone else the past couple of days? this is annoying me because my friends and I are going to our new house tomorrow and need to discuss what we need to bring it and because there are 5 of us we have been talking via facebook messages and now I can't even get on facebook. Facebook sucks because it keeps changing and updating itself to the point that it has become visually unpleasing and harder to use. I was fine with the facebook of 2 years ago. i don't need facebook chat, the only people that talk to me on facebook chat are annoying people I don't want to talk to otherwise. I liked the news feed we had in our profiles and now it isn't in chronological order which doesn't make sense. The stupidest think they have done is make status changes look like comments on people's wall so you don't know if someone has written on their own wall or updated their status a few days ago.

ALL of these things were there a year ago so why don't they just stop fixing the stupid website becuase everything else they have added i don't like and it makes the site run slower.
the biggest rule facebook is breaking is: you don't fix what isn't broken. now they have a broken facebook and its because they keep trying to change it.

| Lately I really haven't heard that much music that I loved. There are a few songs I've liked for a couple days but then I get sick of them. All the stuff I'm listening to that I really like is from a while ago and I am just listening to it again. I am especially listening to stuff I liked a lot at this time last year. It is nice to listen to old music but I wish I had new music. Normally I walk around campus with my ipod but for the past two weeks I've just left it in the dorm room. I would rather just listen to whats going on (normally not much) then listen to my music on the walk to class.
Spring Break is just a few days away. I am looking forward to April when Spring will officially start. Normally my favorite music I find in the spring and summer. Spring is a week and a half away so I hope some new music shows up. Or even old music I haven't listened to yet because that is new music to me.

| It has been 1940 days since i joined xanga... (it said so to me when i logged on.)
Not that it matters because I don't really write in here anymore. It is Winter Break, which was nice until most of my friends left. I guess I want to go back to school, but at the moment I'm pretty indifferent. I loved second semester last year, but I didn't really like last semester. We'll see. It's almost a joke that its called spring semester, I still have at least 3 months of winter.

| Happy Thanksgiving. I've forgotten how boring home can get. I like it here though, but at night there isn't much to do. Our teacher showed us the beginning of Sweeny Todd on Tuesday and I've wanted to watch it ever since, I wish I could just watch movies whenever I wanted. I'm contemplating working over christmas break but i really don't think I want to. But I also know that I will be bored a lot of the time if I don't work. Such dilemmas.
